Wonderful and soft filling for duvet cover; It is composed of mulberry silk inside; Mulberry and on the outside 100% cotton sateen with 300 threads.
Size guide:
The fine mulberry silk sheets are carefully stretched from end to end in a traditional process and are attached to the cotton cover with small diamonds to achieve greater stability, preventing displacement and allowing air to circulate inside.
These fillings are a jewel of Eastern culture. Mulberry silk thread comes from silkworms that feed on mulberry leaves. The mulberry fiber is stretched to form the silk filling with long silk threads. Here you can see the process in a small village in the Canary Islands.
Interior: 100% mulberry silk; Mulberry
Exterior: 100% 300 thread count cotton sateen. For 90 cm and 135 cm beds, exterior: 50% cotton + 50% silk.
Hypoallergenic and anti-mite: It does not damage sensitive, dry, or irritable skin.
Due to its properties, silk is naturally very resistant to mites and bacteria, does not produce odors, and does not absorb dust.
Naturally breathable: Silk absorbs and transfers excess heat and moisture, maintaining a comfortable environment while you sleep.
The composition of silk threads allows moisture to escape, preventing mold and unpleasant odors.
Temperature regulation: Silk is a natural temperature regulator and maintains body temperature throughout the night. When it is cold, the air between the silk threads traps heat inside, providing an insulating effect.
Maximum comfort: Silk is the finest, most flexible, and lightest natural fiber. This means that it does not exert any pressure points on us, so, unlike traditional bedding, which is much heavier, it facilitates movement and increases the body's natural rest. It also adapts to the shape of the body and leaves no areas uncovered.
Suitable for people with respiratory conditions: They do not release particles and substances that can affect the respiratory tract.
A recent study conducted by researchers at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona and published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine has led the media to raise the alarm about the fact that exposure to natural feather duvets or pillows may be linked to the development of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. In this regard, silk is a high-quality alternative.Lightweight and relaxing: Due to its natural components, silk provides a pleasant feeling of softness and tenderness, which has a relaxing effect on the nervous system and promotes a pleasant and restorative night's sleep. Stable, resistant, and durable: It does not deform or form lumps, maintaining a smooth and even surface. Silk is naturally strong, resistant, and elastic. In well-made silk duvets, such as ours, there are no clumps or cold spots. This is because the silk has been stretched and distributed by hand in thin layers of long fibers in one piece, which prevents displacement.
